Outer Shell

• Complex Laminate Construction (CLC) uses aerospace fibreglass technology to achieve a lightweight, but extremely strong shell.
• Arai's manufacturing process enables a consistent shell thickness right to the bottom of the Arai Chaser-V helmet, which features Arai's Hyper Ridge reinforcement. Hyper Ridge also allows a larger opening,
• making the Chaser-V easier to put on without increasing the shell size.

Ventilation

• Improved ventilation over previous Chaser - rear vent creates 50% more vacuum to draw air out.
• Larger lower rear vents.
• New, repositioned and redesigned chin vent.
• New ACF-2 top vent has new slide mechanism to completely close the larger opening.
• Bigger ventilation controls for easier use with motorcycle gloves.
• All vents are designed to break off in an accident to reduce snagging.

Interior

• Triple density EPS lining works with the outer shell to optimise the protection in different parts of the helmet.
• Single piece EPS lining - cells in the lining are bonded together, so work together, unlike EPS linings which have different density sections of EPS glued together.
• Fully removable lining, available in different sizes.
• Removable cheek pads with removable, washable covers.
• Micro adjustable cheek pads - both cheek pads have a 5mm layer of removable material, so fit can be customised without the need to purchase another set of cheek pads.

Visor

• Advances in shell material technology allow for a bigger eyeport, 5mm wider on each side compared to previous Arai Chaser.
• Pinlock anti mist insert included.
• Arai brow vents direct cool air into the forehead area without the need for holes in the shell around the forehead, considered a vulnerable part of the helmet.
• External "Pod" visor holders allow for a better shell shape to disperse impact.
