The Arai X-Tend helmet offers more protection than previous open face helmets, without compromising the traditional open face feel.

• The Arai X-Tend uses an extended shell in the cheek area which allows the use of cheek pads similar to those of a full face helmet.
• Cheek pads are removable and are available in several sizes, so fit can be altered where necessary.
• Vented neck roll takes advantage of the airflow around the neck to extract warm air.
• New, thinner side pods provide a more aerodynamic shape.
• Upper ventilation system as used on the Arai Quantum. 2 intake vents and large rear exhaust vent.
• Covered lower exhause vents.
