SPIDI's effort in terms of safety brought the company to certify a chest protector.
SPIDI's Warrior Chest is in fact regulated as level 1 prEn 1621-3.
The Warrior technology is composed by 3 layers (one Polypropylene and the other two Polyethylene), all shaped as a square blocks structure designed to spread out the shockwave. Among the achievement gained by the Warrior Chest Protector:
(1) 21,8 kn shock absorbing value (clears prEn 1621-3 test)
(2) 644 cm2 area covered
(3) Biomechanic junctions are able to follow the chest's morphology. This also enables folding of protector easy for storage
(4) Max thickness is 15mm (guarantees aerodynamics and comfort)
(5) Great air circulation
(6) 140g weight. Warrior chest comes built in or optional on most SPIDI jackets.
